What We Do

At the Deuteronomy 646 Project, we exist to love God, love people, and serve our city with action.

We believe ministry happens beyond walls. It happens in parking garages, under bridges, at folding tables, in prayer circles, and through consistent presence. Our mission is simple: meet practical needs while making space for spiritual transformation.

We serve with compassion.
We show up consistently.
We create space for encounter.

SaturDATE Serve

Every 3rd Saturday of the month, our team gathers in downtown Albany to serve our homeless and vulnerable neighbors.

SaturDATE Serve is our boots-on-the-ground outreach initiative focused on meeting tangible needs while building real relationships.

We provide:

Hot meals
Frozen meat and groceries
Clothing and hygiene essentials
Bus passes
Prayer and encouragement

But we don’t just distribute resources — we build trust.

We learn names.
We hear stories.
We pray boldly.
We walk alongside people in difficult seasons.

Our goal is not a one-time moment of charity. Our goal is consistent love that restores dignity and reminds people they are seen and valued.

Sunday @ The Fountain

Sunday @ The Fountain is church beyond walls.

Each Sunday, we gather in downtown Albany for worship, prayer, encouragement, and the preaching of the Gospel. For many, this is their first safe encounter with church. For others, it is a return to hope.

We have witnessed:

Salvations
Baptisms
Physical and emotional healing
Lives restored through community

There is no stage. No spotlight. No performance.

Just people.
Just presence.
Just the power of God meeting people right where they are.

We believe the church should go to the streets, not wait for the streets to come to the church.

Why We Do It

Because love requires action.

Because faith without works is incomplete.

Because every person deserves dignity, hope, and the opportunity to encounter God.

The Deuteronomy 6:4–6 call is clear — love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength — and teach it, live it, and pass it on. We live this out by serving consistently and leading with compassion.
